Pepper's Field was the first "precious village site" to become a Walrus project.

 

Standing against a backdrop of the village church, it really was a potentially controversial development and one where the tone for the future was set. Three very different properties, a barn, a three storey farm house and a pretty cottage, all of which made use of many reclaimed materials both inside and out to great effect. This was perhaps the project (prior to the Green at Leire which is on a different scale) to which we would forever refer to as being the one to see if you have a piece of land to sell for development and you are concerned about the impact of a new property!
